Rubie is so good to me.

I have been trying a lot of new things with my camera lately (still learning), and so I needed to practice. She has been a trooper (bribes were offered, and accepted). This month, I tried BBF (back button focusing), but I didn't see a big difference in focus, so I changed back. Now, I have switched to shooting in RAW. I've been scared to do it, but already see a HUGE difference. It is so easy to make changes and fix pictures.

I can't believe what a beautiful 4 year old she is...

These are absolutely stunning! Great job :) Rubie is getting so big! She is a total cutie!

As for back button focusing it isn't that it focuses better it just focuses differently. There are a lot of reasons why it is beneficial :) It is all I use now but it DEFINITELY takes time to get used to it :p Here is a nice little article from canon about it http://www.usa.canon.com/dlc/controller?act=GetArticleAct&articleID=2286

I am so jealous that you have a four year old daughter. I was absolutely IN LOVE with four year old Victoria. It was such a fun time, she really grew up. With Justice, four still seems to be hell. Oh well.

Love that photo with her holding her knees. Such a beauty!
