My Father

The other day, Rubie asked me what it means to raise her. I told her that it means that I get to help her grow up. She said, "throw up?" and I said, "no, grow up." And then she said, "but I said, throw up."

And that's when I realized that I was talking to my father. If you know my dad at all, you know this is true.

I refuse to grow up, my current wife has mentioned on more than one ocassion that I act like I'm trying to relive my youth, or enter my second childhood, I've always maintained that I never left my first childhood, nothing to relive, still playing with cars and sports. Now Julie just can't accept reality like Wheezie has, wait till she dresses Goth and brings home one of her boy friends, can you say "Bite your tongue and cringe" hope I spelled that correctly.
