This evening, we went over to Gramma and Grampa's house. Their yard is a place to climb trees and run around. They also have a small swing, that Rubie loves. Today, she learned to swing! We were so proud of her! She was so excited! (maybe it had to do with her new jelly shoes, that she thinks are glass slippers)... Look at the determination! This is my favorite swinging picture - maybe it has something to do with that santa necklace that she insisted on wearing today, you know, in March...
Lots of time spent with her fingers in her mouth... actual kicking of the ball... playing with her shirt... standing and not doing what she was supposed to... pouting because an ice cream man walked by... and playing with her shorts (not pictured are the many times when she hiked them up to look like soccer panties)... and, that about sums it up.
I love our little trips to Starbucks. Ramon hates coffee, so it is something special that Rubie and I do together. Rubie gets so excited for her chocolate milk (she has no idea that we can make it at home, shhh). These frogs are from the Princess and the Frog movie. She brings these frogs EVERYWHERE. She plays with them constantly. The girl has 80 million toys/dolls, but these are her favorites.
