Playdate with Leiani

This morning, Rubie came in and said, "Mommy, I'm boring." (she meant to say "bored"). But, that didn't last for long. We met up with 2/3 of the Flowers family for some kiddie rides and fun. It would have been more fun if Rubie's attitude had stayed home, but it is what it is...

She takes truck driving very seriously - looks like she is ready for some road rage...

P.S. with the bigger pictures, I feel like I am losing some picture quality - maybe it's just me. Anyone else notice anything?
P.S.again - I'm out of ideas for fun things to do while out of school, please leave me a suggestion in the comments section. please, please, please. Tomorrow we go to the LA Zoo, and then the library on Friday - I'm thinking of building a big fort in the living room...hmmmm....

Pizza Night

Rubie is off of school right now, so I am trying to find fun things to keep her entertained. Tonight, we made pizza. Red and white checkered table clothes, chef hats, mustaches and all...

I love this man. He goes right along with whatever is happening. I bought him a silly chef hat - he put it right on. I told him to cut out mustaches, he did. He is even wearing one of Rubie's aprons - I wish I had a complete picture to show you how funny it is. It looks like a half shirt on him...

Rubie's mustache didn't last long, she said it got "slimy."

He's Crafty

Rubie loves crafts...

So, when I saw this book for $2.99 at the grocery store, I picked it up, gave it to Rubie, and said, "Daddy will be so excited to do this stuff with you!" (heh. poor Ramon)...

Here they are making a "princess necklace."

Please notice the "gown" that Rubie is wearing. She has 80 million dress up dresses, but prefers her favorite blanket tied around her...

Here are the princess and the king dancing in the backyard...

Tonight at dinner I told Rubie that she was my baby girl. She told me that daddy was her baby girl. Lucky Ramon.

Seriously, Gymboree?

Your watermelon line is so ridiculously cute. I know that one day very soon, Rubie will not let me pick out her clothes and dress her up - so for now, how can I refuse?

(The outfit was on sale, but the pictures cost me 2 skittles)

I Love...

I love when Rubie does her own hair...

I love when Rubie adds her own accessories...

I love when Rubie winks at me...

I love when Rubie plays "Starbucks Drive Thru" during bath time. My "iced mocha" only costs "2," but Ramon's costs "14"...

I love how innocent Rubie is - she thinks the baby on her front is "black" and the baby on her back is "pink"...

I love that Rubie wears them both at the same time...
