misc.

Here is a picture of Rubie at the front door of Auntie Savie and Uncle Joe's new house. It is beautiful. Unfortunately, I didn't bring the right lense to take pictures, but expect some to follow soon.

Isn't bathtime better in black and white?...

This one used to be in color, but I changed it - and now I like it so much more...

Backyard

Rubie is finally old enough to play in the back yard by herself. She was out there all morning. Then her dad came home from his soccer game and they had a chat...

Lani's Tea Party

Today was Lani's birthday/tea party. Her actual birthday was a few weeks ago, but she was sick, and then sick, and then sick again - poor thing. She is finally feeling well, so the party was today. Rubie and Leilani were the only guests that attended - and we had so much fun. There was a dress up tea party, crafts, ice cream play dough, cookie making/decorating, and pizza making.

There is something about this picture that is so sweet...

Happy Birthday, Lani! We love you!

Stinks?

Me reading a book: "unfortunately, the Tyrannosaurus rex has been extinct for sixty-five million years."

Rubie: "Yeah, he stinks."

Here is Rubie playing in the head piece that she wore in her auntie Joann's wedding last May. I almost think it looks better with the bow in the front...who knew?

Crooked Smile

I love Rubie's crooked smile...

Here is a shot I took of her while she was playing...

Black and white version for the haters...

Sunday Morning

Another goal for this year is to convert more photos into black and white or sepia. These are sepia. Converting photos into black and white is very hard for me - I can't ever get them just right. Please notice the boots that she chose to go with her tinkerbell dress...

Happy First Birthday Potter Twins!

It was really fun celebrating with the girls today. They truly are a miracle...

This one of Allie just snuck in here (couldn't resist the cuteness)...
